Who I Am
I’m Donna, and I help leaders build stronger teams, clearer systems, and more sustainable ways of working—especially when there’s no HR department or training team to fall back on.

Why Indigo
I started Indigo Consulting because I’ve spent my whole career helping people figure out how to lead better—especially when they’re doing a lot with very little support.
I’ve built training systems, coached new supervisors, redesigned policies, and facilitated the kind of conversations most people try to avoid. I’ve worked with executives, seasonal staff, first-time managers, and whole teams learning as they go.
And here’s what I’ve learned: most people want to do good work. They just need smart, human-centered tools and someone who gets it.
The name Indigo comes from my time as a frontline summer camp counselor. At Girl Scout camps, staff choose nicknames that reflect who they are—and I’ve been Indigo ever since.
(The silver streak in the logo? That’s a nod to the real one in my hair. It’s earned—and it shows up whether I want it to or not.)
